This two-story building features a 4' porch, 4' wrap-around overhang, two access doors, one double door, 12 3x2 windows and one 3x4 window. Did you know that part of the reason TUFF SHED buildings are TUFF is because of our wall framing?

Our walls and roof have superior strength and rigidity because we use the same building techniques that you find in most homes, with 2x4 stud wall framing placed 16" on center. This gives our buildings the ability to hold up under heavy loads - we've even parked trucks on top of our buildings!

And to reinforce our wall framing even more, we also use bottom plates on all walls and double top plates on the sidewalls, plus structural headers over doors and windows in order to better transfer the weight of the roof.

TUFF SHED buildings are built to last and we know that starts from the ground up!

Need storage in a remote location? This custom TR-700 was built for a customer at 8,500 feet in Fairview Canyon, Utah. The customer needed a building that could handle heavy snow loads in the winter so our Salt Lake City team constructed this great looking building that includes upgraded floor and reinforced, custom metal roof.

We give you the freedom to add lots of different door upgrades like our decorative door design (with window and wainscot trim, pictured), a double door, and an additional single door. Plus we allow you to choose where the door is placed, which way it opens, and even what color it is painted.

Whatever you choose, rest assured that every TUFF SHED door is designed to meet our high-quality standards and is ultra heavy-duty. Our patented door design includes steel framing, wood sheathing on the interior and exterior, plus door hardware that is the envy of the shed world.  Our super strong hinges (each rated at 500 pounds!) and ergonomic, locking handle were designed specifically for strength and security and are exclusive to TUFF SHED buildings. The result is a one-of-a-kind door that resists the warping and sagging all too common with most other shed door designs.

Some of the particulars vary by TUFF SHED building model, such as standard door height or possible door placement.

Glidden Professional paints are an industry leader in low-VOC waterborne paints, and provide an excellent layer of added protection to the exterior of your TUFF SHED garage or storage building. The Glidden Ultra-Hide 150 Exterior paint we use is a 100% acrylic formula that provides very good hide and adhesion while offering excellent touch up, and can be applied at temperatures as low as 35 degrees. 

And if you can't find the right match in among our 24 standard colors, we'll add the custom paint color of your choice for a small extra charge.

Finally, our materials and paint process is green! Besides using paint that is extremely low in VOCs, our paint application methods (we roll it on and bag our rollers for later use) produce no water contamination and almost no air born particles.

We Have a Building for That…

The dog days of summer are here! Check out this custom 4'x20' dog kennel built by our Sacramento factory for a customer in Eldorado, CA. This building ensures man's best friend gets a few hours of fresh air and sunshine while staying safely in the customer's yard.

The building includes two 2'x2' windows, two vents, a concrete slab and the interior was finished with a fiberglass-like product called glass board for easy cleaning. Additionally, each stall features a 4'x6' area for each pup to roam and each kennel even has it's very own shelter and doggie door!
