August Inspiration

We recently had a customer in San Antonio, Texas send us a time lapse video of his Tuff Shed, an 8x10 SR-600, being constructed. The customer wanted a shed that would last him the next 20+ years; a shed he wouldn’t have to worry about replacing it any time soon.

This model, the SR-600, has a plethora of awesome standard features like endwall door placement, 4” block sidewall eaves, and a 6” tall galvanized steel foundation. No wonder it’s our most popular ranch style storage building.

One Great Backyard Retreat

Last month we told you about Kristen Witby, a nationally known blogger, and how she joined the She-Shed club. Here is the first look at her new Sundance Series TR-700.

Right away you can see the benefits from her having custom Dutch double doors that immediately give her shed a warm welcoming feeling. Kristen wanted to go for that “not-so-small” look, and her upgraded roof pitch definitely opens up the room to give it a spacious feel. Last but certainly not least, the three transom windows she added gives her shed great natural lighting. For a first time She-Shedder, Kristen has really turned this into a great backyard retreat!

JULY MONTHLY FEATURES

Shed of the Month

Here at Tuff Shed we pride ourselves on our quality construction techniques and our ability to build just about anywhere. Take for example this custom TR-700 built for a customer at 8,500 feet in Fairview Canyon, Utah. The customer needed a building that could handle heavy snow loads in the winter so our Salt Lake City team constructed this great looking building that includes reinforced roof and floors and a metal roof, which will soon be available as a standard option. Do you have a custom project in mind? Give us a call at 888-883-3743 or email us at homedepotsales@tuffshed.com and we’ll be happy to help!

An Inspirational DIY Blogger Joins the She-Shed Club

Social media sensation Kristen Witby, most known for her DIY blog www.ellaclaireinspired.com has joined the She-Shed club with her new Tuff Shed. For a woman whose passion is making her home a lovely and inspirational place, we can’t wait to see what she does with her new Sundance Series TR-700.

From the photo we can see that she has added a few optional upgrades to her building. Above the door, we can see that Kristen has added three transom windows. The natural light from these windows, and the upgraded roof pitch on the building, will open up this building for that not-so-small feeling. To finish it off in style we can also see that an end-wall eave upgrade is being installed. It’s a cosmetic finish that really just makes the perfect finishing touch.

JUNE MONTHLY FEATURES

Better Doors

The door is the most important moving part on any shed. We’ve gone to great lengths to make the Tuff Shed door better than any other shed door on the market. It’s better because it’s chock full of unique features that provide the benefits our customers love.

  •  The large, 4-foot wide design makes it easy to get items in and out of the shed. And the 6-foot wide double door upgrade provides an even wider entrance, perfect for larger items like riding lawn mowers or wheelbarrows.
  • The steel-reinforced design is wrapped with wood on both sides, keeping the door from warping or twisting. We’re proud that our door avoids this common fault of so many other shed doors on the market.
  •  The rugged, locking door handle provides extra security. The ergonomic design makes the handle easy to operate. The safety latch inside means you can’t get locked in the building.
  • Ultra heavy-duty hinges are rated at 500 lbs. each!  With three of these sturdy hinges, each Tuff Shed door closes tightly and won’t sag.

Garage of the Month

The same devotion to quality construction that goes into our storage buildings also goes into every Tuff Shed garage. Just recently, we began servicing customers in The Home Depot’s home city of Atlanta, and already we’ve installed our first garage for a customer there.  Here are a couple of photos of that garage showing the 20' x 28’ Sundance Series model during and after installation.

MAY MONTHLY FEATURES

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know our floors are so innovative and durable, they set us apart? Tuff Shed revolutionized the shed industry by incorporating 2"x6" hot-dipped galvanized steel floor joists, ensuring the building's solid foundation for years to come. And the best part is, it comes standard on any Sundance Series shed.

And if it's durability you're interested in, add our treated floor decking upgrade. This is a sturdy 3/4" thick tongue and groove material that is fastened on top of the steel joists. Developed during years of research by Louisiana Pacific, this floor decking is treated with a revolutionary, environmentally-friendly borate to resist insect and moisture damage, and comes with a high-tech resin overlay that looks great, adds traction and eliminates splinters. And at just $1 per square foot, adding this innovative material to any TUFF SHED storage building is a no-brainer.

Stomp on it and FEEL the strength!

APRIL MONTHLY FEATURES

DID YOU KNOW?

Want to add a little natural light to the inside and curb appeal to the outside of your Tuff Shed building? Check out our decorative door upgrade that includes a tempered glass, in-the-door window plus wainscot trim.

Our standard shed door is already legendary in quality...and now you can upgrade the look of your Tuff Shed storage building with a door that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In the past, customers had to select a skylight if they wanted natural light in their shed but were concerned that adding a traditional window would create a security concern. So Tuff Shed introduced transom windows in 2013. They were a big hit, and the in-the-door transom window is the latest in this window evolution.

And the best part is this upgrade can be added to any single 4' door or double 3'doors (double door sold separately) for just $129 per existing single door or $179 per existing double door!

WE HAVE A BUILDING FOR THAT

Score big with a Tuff Shed garage! From the simple (like a detached, single car Sundance garage) to the complex (like this 12'x26' perfectly matched, custom variety), we have a garage to meet every need.

Need some extra space to store your toys? A garage is one addition to your home that will provide added storage and protect your vehicles. Like all TUFF SHED buildings, our garages are designed so they can be customized with optional accessories. We give you the ability to add optional upgrades, from the simple and standard (i.e. paint or ventilation) to the more complex or custom (i.e. roof pitch, or siding type).
