Carl Spreads The Word

Carl Joerschke has only owned his shed for a year but that’s been plenty of time for him to become a Tuff Shed enthusiast. His shed has become known as Carl’s Workshop, a 20x12 Sundance Series TB-800 with an 8x12 loft and double doors. He uses the building for woodworking and tinkering in his free time. With so much time spent in his workshop, Carl decided to install insulation and wood paneling on the interior walls as well as run electricity to the building.

Since purchasing his workshop, he has convinced several neighbors to get Tuff Shed buildings of their own. “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve looked at a lot of other sheds and I think Tuff Shed is the best.” We couldn’t agree more, Carl.

Need an extra large storage space?

Tuff Shed has your solution! During a trip to the Home Depot (HD) for a backup generator, Allen Meyer mentioned to an HD Sales Associate that he was in search of an extra shed or garage. He was put into contact with Tuff Shed Area Sales Manager Sonny Kollmorgan. Later that day the two met and discussed Allen’s storage needs. After a bit of discussion and planning, Allen decided on a 30x40 Sundance Series garage. He upgraded the garage’s wall height to 10ft, added 2x6 studs, and raised the roof pitch to 12x12 with attic trusses. In addition, the garage has an 8x16 front porch, carriage garage doors, two-tone wainscoting exterior paint, and a half loft inside with a set of stairs.

Allen plans to use half of his new Tuff Shed garage for storing farming equipment, tractors, 4-wheelers, and pickups. The other half of the garage will be insulated for a workspace. The insulated section will also be home to a golf-simulator to keep his game strong during the winter. Meyer is finalizing the wiring for the electrical work in his workshop and will begin insulating when he’s finished.

His experience with Tuff Shed has been worry-free. “They came on a Tuesday and they were done on a Tuesday. That’s not my typical experience with contractors. I’m very happy with the results.”
